About TAWF
To elevate arm wrestling into a mainstream sport by giving it what it has always been missing — teams, strategy, and a reason for fans to choose a side.
What is TAWF?
The Team Arm Wrestling Federation (TAWF) is the world's first professional, team-based arm wrestling league. TAWF reimagines the sport with the structure of a major North American league — franchises, a regular season, playoffs, and a national broadcast audience.
Eight franchises compete across Canada and the United States — Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Tampa Bay, Long Island, Las Vegas, and Detroit. A 14-week season begins October 3, 2026, culminating in the USA vs. Canada Finals.
TAWF is confirmed to air nationally on Fight Network (Canada) and Game+ (North America).
How It Started
TAWF was founded in 2025 by Jason Costantini and Alex Keary through Table Monkeys Inc. The two saw arm wrestling for what it truly is — an explosive, high-stakes combat sport — and asked a simple question: what if it had teams?
That question became the foundation of an entirely new format. By adding franchises, a point-based scoring system, manager strategy, and a national broadcast deal, TAWF gives arm wrestling the infrastructure to grow into something much larger than what it has ever been.
Our Mission
Arm wrestling is one of the most universally understood sports in the world. Everyone knows the rules. Everyone has tried it. TAWF exists to give the sport the stage it deserves.
We are building a league that serves athletes, fans, and the broader arm wrestling community — creating careers for competitors, real rivalries for fans to follow, and a sustainable ecosystem backed by media, sponsorship, and franchise ownership.
The sport has never had this before. TAWF is changing that.
